The UK-Indonesia Business Forum will follow the government-to-government trade discussions held under the Joint Economic Trade Committee (JETCO) Meeting.

It will be an opportunity to hear the outcome of the discussions with the UK and Indonesian ministers and to discuss how trade can grow further. The JETCO will feature discussions on digital tech and fintech, renewable energy, education, and professional services with a focus on legal services, food & beverage and agriculture.

Indonesia is the largest economy in Southeast Asia and is forecast to be the 5th largest in the world by 2030 (behind China, India, US and Japan). Two-way trade with Indonesia is currently worth £3.5 billion indicating significant room for growth in the bilateral trading relationship.
