About this Mission

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has the potential to contribute up to $1 trillion to Southeast Asia’s GDP by 2030. As the region’s largest digital economy, Indonesia is at the heart of this transformation: The country’s rapidly growing market offers ample commercial opportunities to cutting-edge AI companies from across the UK.

To facilitate access to these opportunities, the Department for Business and Trade (DBT), in partnership with the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), will be welcoming a delegation of experts from the UK's most exciting AI companies to Indonesia from 25 to 27 September 2023.
